Health Safety Protocol – COVID-19

Highland Lake Inn & Resort and their restaurant, Season’s at Highland Lake wants to emphasize during these times of uncertainty, that the safety and health of their guests is a top priority. Extra measures have been put in place to ensure that the spread of COVID-19 is mitigated.

Highland Lake Inn & Resort owner Jack Grup stated that “We strive to maintain high standards of food and environmental hygiene at all times and are now taking extra precautions as well”. In addition to those high standards already in place, Highland Lake Inn & Resort has implemented several additional measures to further improve health safety and provide peace of mind for guests who are dining and lodging on property:

  • Increased handwashing and sanitation by all staff has been made mandatory.
  • Providing more soap and hand-cleansing products for use by guests and employees. Highland Lake Inn & Resort provides hand sanitizer solutions for all of their guests at each entrance to their facilities.
  • More frequent sanitizing protocols for publicly used surfaces in their hotel and restaurant, including countertops, doorknobs, menu covers and other frequently touched surfaces.
  • Rooms are thoroughly sanitized by Highland Lake Inn & Resort staff after each guest has checked out and all housekeeping staff self-sanitizes prior to entering each room.

Mr. Grup confirmed that “Highland Lake Inn & Resort is committed to complying with, or exceeding, the stringent health standards recommended by local health authorities, the CDC and the American Hotel and Lodging Association during this COVID-19 public health situation”.
