Allison Earnest is our Executive Sous Chef. We had her complete the following questions so you could get to know her a little better.

What is the one thing you cannot resist?
I love salty snacks, or really just food in general. The quickest way to a chef’s heart is good food.

What is your greatest fear?
Tornados terrify me. I’ve never been in one but they still scare me.

Where is your favorite place to be?
Honestly, anywhere with my friends. I love just hanging out with them and relaxing.

Where is the best place you've traveled to and why?
I actually lived in Italy for a while and I had the opportunity to visit Venice while I was there. Getting to experience the sights, culture, and especially the food was truly magnificent. I definitely recommend visiting if you have the opportunity.

What's the weirdest job you've ever had?
I can’t think of a job that was specifically weird but one place I worked paid me to go catch turtles one afternoon for the turtle races the next day.

What would you do (for a career) if you weren't doing this?
Realistically, I’d go back to working Residence Life at a university. But if I could do absolutely anything, I would want to be a story writer for video games/movies.
